Swara Bhasker is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi cinema, particularly in character-driven and independent films. Born on 9 April 1988 in Delhi, she studied English literature at Miranda House, University of Delhi, and later completed a master's degree in sociology from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before entering films, she was involved in Delhi theatre. She made her film debut with Madholal Keep Walking in 2009 and gained wider recognition with Tanu Weds Manu in 2011. She subsequently appeared in Raanjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Nil Battey Sannata, Anaarkali of Aarah and Veere Di Wedding. In 2026, she joined the reality show Rise & Fall Season 2 as a contestant.
